Senior Digital Marketing Strategist This position is Tokyo based.

Artyz is a digital strategy and creative agency with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. We strengthen brands' online presence and optimize digital performance. Our clients range from global multinational brands to local brands, startups, and national governments. We are expanding our digital marketing team and looking for bilingual, creative thinkers who can plan and execute tailored solutions to our clients' digital marketing needs in the local market. We emphasize transparency and mutual trust, so communication is one of the core elements for successful candidates.

Job Description

To work closely with the client side and Artyz internal team members to build tailor-made long-term digital marketing strategy and execution plans based on defined KPIs. Great opportunity to work with international brands in multicultural environments, with the possibility of international travel. This position is Tokyo based.

Responsibilities
  • manage and closely develop relationships with clients through day-to-day communications
  • manage overall project progress and support communication with overseas headquarters and relevant departments
  • develop optimized and tailored digital strategy utilizing the best available channels, creatives, and campaigns
  • work closely with design, web development, and copywriting teams to create and optimize digital marketing campaigns
  • define target personas and communication strategy
  • perform industry research, market, and competitor analysis
  • assist clients in KPIs, goals, and budget planning
  • analyze digital performance by web channels/owned media, social channels, advertising campaigns, and platforms
  • deliver in-depth reports and further optimization proposals based on results
  • closely monitor and optimize digital performance
Requirements
  • bachelor's degree or above (in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Communication is preferred)
  • have more than 5 years of experience in digital marketing strategy development, branding communication and/or related fields, preferably within an agency settings
  • experience in handling high advertising budgets of several hundred million yen or more
  • experience in growing brands through digital marketing and communication
  • have a natural curiosity and drive to work in new environments and industries
  • excellent communication skills in multi-cultural settings
  • attention to details and outstanding multi-project management skills
  • fluency in both Japanese and English, other language proficiency is a plus
